Hourly Compensation: $35.00 – $40.00 / hour (Base rate is strictly dependent on your specific piston GA maintenance background).
Onboarding Incentive: A $1,000 sign-on bonus is provided to welcome you to the team.

We are targeting self-directed, highly meticulous Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) mechanics who take ownership of their workspace and excel under regulatory frameworks without needing constant oversight. In this role, you will anchor our flight line by diagnosing, servicing, and overhauling a high-utilization fleet of piston trainer aircraft, making definitive airworthiness calls to support a busy flight schedule.
Core ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, service, and return to service a modern fleet of piston-powered general aviation aircraft during scheduled phase checks and unscheduled groundings.
Interpret technical data, engineering prints, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and Service Bulletins with absolute precision to rectify mechanical or electrical discrepancies.
Complete detailed, audit-ready aircraft logbook entries and digital maintenance documentation in strict compliance with FAA protocols.
Foster a clean, organized, and proactive safety culture throughout the hangar and flight ramp.
Coordinate with flight dispatchers and peer technicians to reprioritize maintenance tasks dynamically based on real-time flight line availability.
Maintain readiness to cover assigned day or night operational shift blocks to support continuous fleet uptime.
An active, unencumbered FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
A minimum of 3 years of recent, active maintenance experience as a certificated mechanic working on light general aviation piston airframes (
Cirrus, Diamond, Piper
, or direct equivalents).Prior background working within high-tempo fleet environments (such as flight schools, fractional operators, or busy GA repair stations) is highly preferred.
Flawless working knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 43 and 91 regulatory frameworks.
Solid tech literacy, including comfort with Microsoft Office products and electronic maintenance tracking software.
Physical capacity to routinely lift up to 50 lbs, stand or kneel for extended periods, and work comfortably in both climate-exposed ramp environments and the hangar shop.
