Duties and Responsibilities- Design
- Support review of architectural standards and scopes.
- Assist with review of Aligned's reference design standard, ensuring compliance, innovation, lessons learned, and alignment with customer and code requirements.
- Participate in design quality control reviews across all phases.
- Support preparation of content and materials for internal business approvals.
- Assist with conceptual and directional design decisions.
- Support site evaluations, test fits, and Aligned's real estate due diligence efforts.
- Assist with expansion and renovation projects & upgrades to existing legacy facilities.
- Execution
- Support technical investigations and problem solving efforts.
- Assist in validate project readiness for service from a technical standpoint.
- Support troubleshooting of building performance issues under the guidance of senior staff.
- Participate in coordination meetings (design and construction).
- Revenue
- Support review of customer-driven deviations from standard designs.
- Assist in evaluations of assets under consideration for acquisition

- Assist in review of new design and construction technologies.
- Communications
- Communicate effectively with team members and project stakeholders.
- Ability to convey technical concepts clearly with guidance.
- Support development and participation in team training efforts.
Strongly desired working experience and knowledge of:
- Project Management Software (Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience working with Revit, Bluebeam, Auto CAD.
Minimum qualifications:
- Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch), or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of design or project management experience.
- Architecture license not required; interest in pursuing licensure preferred.
- Basic understanding of building systems (structural, architectural, MEP).
- Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications.
- Interest in leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve design/engineering efficiency, quality, and decision-making across workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong organizational skills.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.
- Ability to understand construction project scopes.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
