Project Ramps:
Spring 2026 and beyond
Data centers don’t come online because they were built.
They come online because someone validated the logic, tested the systems, and made sure nothing failed when it mattered
.
We are building a Specialized Systems & Commissioning talent pool to lead the most critical phase of large-scale data center projects across the Dallas–Fort Worth market:
the transition from a physical shell to a live, breathing facility
.
If you live in the world of commissioning protocols, controls logic, power redundancy, and uptime risk, and you don’t think of yourself as a “construction person” this is for you.
The Opportunity
These roles sit at the point where construction ends and operations begin.
You’ll be responsible for proving systems work as designed
, integrating controls, eliminating risk, and delivering a clean handover with no surprises.
We are seeking technical specialists who thrive in the details of BMS, EPMS, power systems, cooling logic, and system validation
, and who understand what’s at stake in a mission-critical environment.
This talent pool focuses on Live Environment Specialists across the following roles:
- Commissioning Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)
- BMS Engineer (Controls & Integration)
- Critical Facilities Technician
System Validation
Executing Level 1–5 commissioning (Cx) activities, functional testing, and integrated systems testing to verify equipment performs to design and redundancy requirements.
Controls & Integration
Deploying, tuning, and validating BMS and EPMS platforms, including point-to-point testing, sequences, alarms, and trending.
Operational Readiness
Identifying and mitigating risks that could impact uptime during startup, turnover, and early operations.
Technical Troubleshooting
Solving complex logic, controls, or hardware issues during testing and commissioning—methodically and under pressure.
Documentation & Handover
Producing accurate test scripts, results, deficiency logs, and O&M documentation to support a clean turnover to operations.
These are hands-on, on-site roles
. This is where systems either prove themselves—or don’t.
- 3–5+ years of experience in Commissioning, Controls, or Critical Facilities Operations
- Strong technical background in UPS systems, switch gear, generators, ATS, CRAC/CRAH units, and chilled water systems
- Familiarity with industry-standard commissioning levels and testing protocols
- Working knowledge of electrical safety (NFPA 70E) and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Comfort working in active construction and startup environments alongside vendors and contractors
- Background with OEMs or integrators such as Schneider, Eaton, Vertiv, Johnson Controls
, or specialized commissioning firms - A zero-failure mentality
—you understand the consequences of missed logic, bad alarms, or incomplete testing
- Permanent DFW roles in one of the most active data center corridors globally
- Exposure to cutting-edge systems including high-density power, advanced automation, and next-gen cooling
- Clear path into technical site leadership, commissioning management, or regional systems roles
- Long-term project pipeline—not a one-off build
- Teams that understand commissioning is not an afterthought—it’s the gatekeeper
