MEP Project Engineer

A leading construction and project delivery firm is seeking an MEP Preconstruction professional to support complex commercial projects in the Dallas area. This role focuses on coordinating with design teams, equipment vendors, and subcontractors to plan and procure mechanical and electrical systems, manage bid and contract processes, and assist with cost planning and equipment submittals.

Projects typically include large, technically demanding facilities such as mission-critical, aviation, education, and corporate developments.

Background sought

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• Around 5+ years of experience supporting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes in a preconstruction or estimating environment
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications across multiple disciplines
• Working knowledge of MEP systems, equipment, and procurement processes
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a team-oriented setting
• Detail-focused, organized, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues
