Overview

Permanent role for a mechanical engineer with experience designing and validating industrial process equipment. The work centers on thermal analysis, mechanical evaluation, component selection, and end-to-end ownership of engineered-to-order hardware. You will handle specification, analysis, and selection of equipment integrated into complex process systems used across mission-critical industrial operations and large-scale energy environments. The scope runs from conceptual thermal modeling through mechanical verification, fabrication review, and performance testing under tight thermal, mechanical, and acoustic constraints.

Requirements
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Minimum five years in thermal or mechanical design within power, energy, or advanced process-system manufacturing.
  • BSME or MSME.
  • Direct experience with heat exchangers, de-aeration equipment, rotating machinery, vacuum technology, ejector systems, and precision control valves.
  • Strong foundation in heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and system hydraulics; familiarity with FEA or flow modeling preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ASME codes and equipment-specification standards.
Responsibilities
  • Lead thermal and mechanical design validation across large engineered process systems.
  • Develop and review performance curves, acoustic and control documentation, and process-flow diagrams.
  • Execute hydraulic and flow calculations for sizing, pressure drop, and drainage paths.
  • Build and maintain engineering tools and selection programs supporting thermal analysis.
