JOB SUMMARY

This position ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as the company’s policies and procedures related to environmental permitting and compliance. The Environmental Manager also acts as the liaison between environmental agencies and our Operations function for all environmental matters. While the Environmental Manager will spend most of their time with DKL Delaware matters, they will also provide significant assistance across the DKL asset footprint by stewarding and tracking compliance requirements, completing and submitting reports, assessing and processing MOCs, interacting with Operations, and providing subject‑matter expertise for regulatory and permitting.

EDUCATION

AND EXPERIENCE
  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required) – in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a STEM‑related discipline.
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of 10 years related experience is required although employees typically have 15–20 years.
  • Midstream or downstream industry experience in environmental matters surrounding the handling and storage of crude oil, refined products, gas transmission, gas processing, related condensates, produced water, UIC, and AGI matters.
  • Experience with TCEQ, TxRRC, NMED, and NMOCD required.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable federal and state air and water quality regulations is required, specifically New Source Review and Title V permitting, NSPS Subpart JJJJ, NSPS Subpart OOOO/a, NSPS Subpart Kb, Stack testing, LDAR Method 21 and Appendix K OGI, and RCRA waste.
  • No Licensure or Certification Required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Occasional overnight travel will be required.
  • Oil and gas industry experience required.
