Job Description

Our client is seeking a motivated and dynamic Licensed MEP Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team in Dallas, TX. They are hiring at all experience levels and are especially interested in individuals who are eager to grow and develop within their career. Key Responsibilities
  • Design, analyze, and implement mechanical systems for a variety of projects, with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Perform load calculations, system sizing, and energy modeling to ensure systems meet project specifications and local building codes.
  • Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and other disciplines to deliver integrated designs.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mechanical systems during the construction phase.
  • Participate in client meetings, presenting technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of mechanical design drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Utilize Revit to create detailed mechanical designs, drawings, and models for integration into project workflows.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and best practices to ensure high-quality work.
Qualifications
  • A licensed Mechanical Engineer (PE) in the state of Texas or ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable time.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience (all levels encouraged to apply).
  • Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Revit and other design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Trane Trace, Carrier HAP) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, and energy modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and national codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IBC).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
