Compass is seeking a Vice President of Design Program for our Compass Programto join our Design & Solutions Engineering team in Dallas, TX; this is an onsite role.
About the RoleThe Vice President of Design Program will lead the end-to-end strategy, development, and execution of:

- Design Program
This role is pivotal in shaping how we standardize, innovate, and scale design excellence across our global data center portfolio.

Key Responsibilities- Lead the creation and maintenance of prototype designs that serve as the blueprint for all data center projects.
- Create, document, and refine standardized design processes to ensure efficient, repeatable, and high-quality project execution.
- Implement best practices that streamline workflows and enhance coordination across multiple teams and disciplines.
- Drive Kaizen based on lessons learned and industry advancements.
- Develop quality control measures to guarantee that all design outputs meet prototype design and customer requirements.
- Facilitate clear, consistent communication with stakeholders across departments, simplifying complex technical details to ensure understanding and alignment.
- Based in Dallas, TX.
- 10+ years in Design & Engineering in Mission Critical Sector with a minimum of 3+ years in a leadership role managing complex programs and standardizations.
- Strong understanding of engineering disciplines relevant to Mission Critical design (Mechanical, Electrical, Architecture, BMS, Telecom, Structural, Civil).
- Proven ability to identify and resolve design inconsistencies, anticipate risks, and maintain high-quality standards across multiple disciplines.
