- 6-10+ years of substation design experience, including 2+ years specializing in physical substation design

An engineering client of Insight Global is seeking a Substation Design Supervisor to join their team remotely, based in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. In this role, you will play a critical part in establishing a new engineering design office, serving as the primary liaison between the Knoxville engineering team and local clients. Acting as the single point of contact for the customer, you will oversee substation design projects and provide technical leadership while wearing multiple hats during the initial setup phase.
This position requires frequent client interaction, including onsite visits, and involves a strong focus on marketing and relationship-building to support business growth. Over time, you will help build and develop the local team, ensuring projects meet quality standards, schedules, and budget goals, all while driving a customer-focused approach and contributing to Mesa’s strategic expansion in the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
