Project Engineer – Manufacturing Operations
📍 Dallas, TX | 💼 Full-Time
💰 $95,000–$110,000 base +
Own the execution. Coordinate the work. Deliver results on the plant floor.
Rudolph Foods is looking for a Project Engineer who thrives in manufacturing operations and enjoys coordinating people, schedules, and resources to bring projects to life. This role is best suited for someone who prefers hands-on project ownership and plant coordination over heavy design work.
If you like being the point person who keeps projects moving, aligns teams, and ensures installs happen safely and correctly — this role is for you.
What you’ll do:
• Lead capital and engineering projects from concept through installation and startup
• Serve as the primary coordinator between Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Engineering, and contractors
• Own project timelines, budgets, and execution plans
• Coordinate equipment installs, line modifications, and facility improvements
• Be present on the plant floor during active projects to support execution and resolve issues
• Ensure contractors and internal teams stay aligned, on schedule, and working safely
• Use production and equipment data to identify operational improvement opportunities
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts
• Maintain required layouts and safety drawings in AutoCAD (light design focus)
You’ll work independently while aligning closely with the Director of Engineering on priorities and capital planning.
What we’re looking for:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 4–6 years experience in manufacturing, operations support, or project coordination
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working across shifts, teams, and personalities
• Ability to manage multiple active projects in live production environments
• AutoCAD experience required (coordination > design depth)
Why Rudolph Foods?
• Competitive base
• Highly visible projects with real operational impact
• Safety-first, people-focused manufacturing culture
• Growth path into senior engineering or operations leadership
✈ Travel is project-based and may reach up to 60% during active installations
