Interview Process: 2 rounds – 1st round virtual and 2nd round in person panel
MUST HAVES- B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- 5–10 years of applicable experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Proficiency in substation engineering (physical layout, P&C, relay settings, commissioning)
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and CAD staff
- Experience developing proposals, specs, and bid documents
The Project Engineer III mentors engineering and CAD teams in physical layout and protection/control design. This role serves as the sealing engineer for most project deliverables and maintains customer relationships, including support for future business development. Reports to the Divisional Manager.
Responsibilities- Mentor and schedule work for junior engineers and designers
- Act as customer point of contact for active and upcoming projects
- Perform engineering calculations and direct project design using industry standards
- Prepare complex documentation including specifications and bid packages
- Conduct detailed drawing reviews to ensure clarity and design accuracy
- Oversee and train Project Engineers I and II
- Use Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Perform additional duties as required
