Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly technical, field-proven Data Center Sales Manager – Mission Critical to drive growth in the hyperscale and enterprise data center market. Data centers are no longer niche — they are core infrastructure. Cooling systems must perform flawlessly under extreme operational demands. This role ensures our equipment is positioned at the front end of design, not value-engineered at the end

This individual will be for leading OEM-level sales strategy for custom evaporative air handlers and associated gas and AC equipment within mission critical environments. The ideal candidate brings a blend of engineering depth, field experience, and executive-level customer engagement within the data center ecosystem. This role requires someone who understands uptime, redundancy, and precision environmental control — and can position high-performance HVAC systems as infrastructure assets, not commodities.

• Develop and execute sales strategy for mission critical HVAC solutions in the data market
• Lead specification efforts with consulting engineers and data center design teams
• Position custom evaporative air handlers and associated equipment into plan-and-spec projects
• Interface directly with hyperscale operators, colocation providers, and mission critical consultants
• Interpret and influence mechanical drawings, submittals, and design documents
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and controls teams to deliver tailored solutions
• Serve as technical expert in front of key customers and industry stakeholders
• Drive revenue growth while maintaining strong customer relationships
• Provide field intelligence on emerging data center cooling trends

• 5+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC field experience
• Demonstrated experience operating within data center or mission critical environments
• Strong understanding of custom air handling systems and associated gas / DX equipment
• Engineering or technical background preferred
• Experience with Automated Logic Controls (ALC) or comparable building automation systems
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, design documents, and submittals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to engage at both technical and executive customer levels

• Background with OEM or large applied equipment manufacturers
• Experience supporting hyperscale data center projects
• Knowledge of redundancy strategies (N+1, 2N, etc.)
• Familiarity with evaporative cooling technologies
• Established relationships within the mission critical design community

• Increased specification wins in the data center vertical
• Strong presence with consulting engineers and mission critical design firms
• Revenue growth in custom air handler product lines
