Overview
Symbiotic Services is seeking a Document Control Specialist to support engineering operations through document creation, updates, and change management. This role involves collaboration with vendors, internal teams, and ERP systems to ensure up-to-date and accurate product documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create foam sets and coordinate with vendors
- Set up new items and model shells in Oracle
- Perform costing for new models and update cost information
- Create and revise Bill of Materials (BOMs)
- Implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
- Maintain weekly BOM quality data and update engineering backlog
- Participate in the Beta production process
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills and self-motivation
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach to new projects
