OverviewAs an Engineering Designer, you'll lead portions of complex transportation design projects and provide advanced technical support in roadway, multimodal, and intersection design. You'll apply engineering judgment, mentor junior designers, and collaborate closely with project engineers and managers to ensure the delivery of accurate, efficient, and constructible design solutions.
Responsibilities- Lead the preparation of detailed design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
- Perform advanced design calculations and ensure compliance with applicable standards and client requirements.
- Coordinate design activities among multidisciplinary teams and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
- Assist project engineers and managers with quality control reviews, schedule tracking, and design deliverables.
- Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in transportation design.
- 3+ years of directly related experience.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Micro Station &/or Civil 3D.
- Proficiency with Excel.
