Structural Summer Interns at L.A. Fuess Partners:

• Pursuing a degree in civil/structural engineering or architectural engineering.
• Assist a team in a wide variety of tasks related to design of structures for commercial, residential, institutional and industrial buildings.
• Develop and coordinate construction documents.
• Visit construction sites.
• Learn to use state-of-the-art software for analysis, design and drawing.
• Work in a supportive team environment aided by structural engineers with decades of experience and recent graduates.
• Work in a professional atmosphere with flexible hours.
• Work with nationally known architects and developers.

Requirements:

• It is preferred that candidates have completed at least one course in concrete or steel prior to the internship.
