Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kitchener, ON and/or Dallas, TX for a BHS Controls Engineer. The BHS Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining baggage handling system (BHS) controls. Daily tasks include developing control algorithms, troubleshooting system issues, optimizing performance, and collaborating with teams to ensure efficient and reliable systems. The role also involves providing technical support, overseeing system installations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Process Control and Motion Control systems
- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering principles
- Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues
- Knowledge of Robotics and experience with robotic system integration
- Technical proficiency and experience in managing control system environments
- Effective problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Robotics, or related field
- Familiarity with baggage handling systems is an asset
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
