A leading engineering firm is seeking a Structural P.E. to join its MEP/S team. This position focuses on structural building design within a collaborative consulting environment. The firm operates multiple offices across Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma and is excited to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Prepare structural plans, reports, and technical studies for review.
- Direct technicians and EITs in the production of engineering documents for routine projects.
- Coordinate with clients alongside Project Managers as appropriate.
- Conduct construction site visits to observe progress and determine general conformance with engineering plans and specifications.
- Research applicable design criteria, regulations, and standards and incorporate them into project documents.
- Mentor team members in the effective use of design software, including Revit/BIM.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
- Has a current Texas Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- Minimum of 7 years of structural building design experience in a consulting role.
- Experience working on structural systems for buildings.
