We are partnering with a large, nationally recognized engineering firm that delivers complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the United States. This role is based in Texas and is well suited for a senior structural engineer who enjoys technically demanding work, long term client engagement, and mentoring within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This position focuses on the structural design and analysis of water and wastewater facilities, including treatment plants, pump stations, tanks, and related infrastructure.

The engineer will play a key role in project delivery, technical leadership, and coordination with teams across multiple disciplines and regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and perform structural design and analysis for water and wastewater treatment facilities
  • Design reinforced concrete and structural steel systems for process buildings, tanks, basins, and supporting infrastructure
  • Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and process engineering teams
  • Review drawings, calculations, and specifications for technical accuracy and constructability
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and design development from concept through construction
  • Participate in client coordination and technical discussions as needed
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers
  • Support quality control and adherence to applicable codes and standards
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineer licensure required
  • 10 to 15 years of structural engineering experience
  • Demonstrated experience with water or wastewater facilities strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of concrete design, seismic considerations, and applicable building codes
  • Experience working on projects in Texas or similar regulatory environments
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team driven culture
