Optomi, in partnership with a leading healthcare organization, is looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer for their Fort Worth location. This individual will play a key role in expanding the research area by supporting new projects and initiatives. This position focuses on the infrastructure layer, including Linux, Citrix, and Nutanix environments.
What type of experience does the right candidate have:- Deep knowledge in data platforms and interdisciplinary IT disciplines
- Familiarity with Linux, Citrix, Nutanix, and cloud infrastructure
- Strong understanding of data governance and compliance
- 8+ years of experience
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of database management systems
- Ensure data security and compliance, backup and recovery
- Focus more on infrastructure-level support vs. traditional BI/admin work.
- Some exposure to Spark or Python is helpful.
