Lead Process Engineer Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) studies to evaluate and optimize pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging processes
- Provide technical leadership for process improvement initiatives, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and product quality
- Support and optimize liquid/gel filling and bottle/tube packaging operations within pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
- Conduct root cause investigations for process deviations or performance issues and implement sustainable corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and engineering to support process development and improvement efforts
- Serve as a client-facing technical expert, working directly on-site with customers and stakeholders to address process challenges
- Document process studies, experimental results, and improvement initiatives in accordance with industry and company standards
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 5–10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry supporting manufacturing or process engineering
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience designing and executing DOE (Design of Experiments) studies
- Demonstrated experience supporting liquid/gel filling and bottle/tube packaging processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience performing root cause analysis and implementing process improvements
- Ability to work on-site 75%+ of the time
Compensation
National (US) Range: $85,000 - $154,389 USD
