Senior Estimator

Brief Description

Due to Satterfield & Pontikes’ continued growth and expansion, we are adding a Senior Estimator to our Dallas team. In this position you will be leading a team estimating projects in the $20-600 mil range including data center, medical, education, and other commercial projects throughout the state of TX. We have an awesome leadership team and over the next several years there is going to be a lot of opportunity for advancement.

• Communicates with sub-trades and suppliers to ensure an understanding of the scope of work
• Prepare conventional bids to the owner
• Prepare negotiated estimates for owners
• Assist in receiving and evaluating subcontractor and major material quotations prior to bid day and on bid day
• Solicits and maintains communication with subcontractors and vendors
• Transmits addenda and other bid information to subcontractors
• Ensures that we have the proper coverage from subcontractors on bid day
• Working with estimating team to strategize final bids

• B.A. or B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture.
• 5+ years as an Estimator for a Commercial General Contractor.
• Must have experience estimating projects over $40 million.
