Test Engineer, Battery Energy Storage Systems

We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer to join our team in a full-time, on-site role located in Forney, TX. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the test and validation of energy storage solutions.

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of all test equipment.
• Assist in system integration activities between lab equipment and the device under test (DUT).
• Prepare test plans and execute tests for individual equipment as well as complete systems.
• Lead data analysis and data processing activities across all test beds.
• Review and present test data with internal team members.
• Support test cell instrumentation activities.
• Support efficient identification, communication, tracking, and resolution of issues and risks.
• Apply a hands-on approach to problem solving at the component, sub-system, and system level.
• Drive issue resolution through structured failure mode resolution processes.

• Expertise in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Power Conversion Systems (PCS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and grid integration.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the energy storage or power systems industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
