We are seeking an experienced Avionics Engineer with strong expertise in aircraft avionics systems integration, supplier coordination, system development, testing, and certification activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in critical ATA chapters and experience supporting aircraft development and modification programs within the aerospace industry.
Responsibilities- Support the design, development, integration, and validation of aircraft avionics systems.
- Interface directly with avionics suppliers and internal engineering teams to ensure technical requirements and project deliverables are achieved.
- Lead and support avionics system integration activities at both system and aircraft levels.
- Participate in systems development, verification, testing, troubleshooting, and certification activities.
- Review technical documentation, system specifications, test procedures, and certification reports.
- Support aircraft modification programs, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams including electrical, systems, structures, and flight test departments.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and certification requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Avionics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in avionics engineering within the aerospace industry.
- Strong experience in critical Avionics ATA chapters such as ATA 34 (Navigation), ATA 31 (Instruments), ATA 23 (Communications), ATA 22 (Auto Flight), and ATA 42 (Integrated Modular Avionics).
- Experience interfacing with avionics suppliers and managing technical coordination activities.
- Strong understanding of avionics systems integration at both system and aircraft levels.
- Experience in systems development, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and certification activities.
- Knowledge of aerospace regulatory and certification requirements is preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical coordination skills.
