Summary
The Engineer will report to the Manager of Engineering as part of the Data Initiatives Group and will provide engineering support to accelerate data-driven innovation and integrate emerging technologies into day-to-day operations. The engineer will coordinate and communicate with the various operational groups to support project development and be expected to take a defined business commitment, apply basic engineering analytical concepts, and develop a project and plan for the successful completion to meet the business objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Support Data Initiatives Group personnel with implementation of data enhancement and standardization projects focused on field operations-related activities and equipment.
- Perform buildout and provide ongoing support for data hierarchy and standardization within Operations data historian.
- Provide day-to-day engineering and technical support for various data initiatives.
- Development of machine learning model concepts for benefit of cost and risk reduction opportunities.
- Identify and develop scopes for future data enhancement projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to oversee the implementation of approved projects.
- Projects are highly schedule-driven to meet business needs.
- Require constant communication and coordination with operations, operations services, and IT personnel in area of responsibility.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline.
- Title conferred will be based on candidates' years of relevant experience.
- Preferred 3+ years' experience in Oil and Gas Industry.
- Must possess strong troubleshooting, problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage workload independently and deliver timely and accurate results.
- Must be able to multi-task, prioritize work and adapt to changing due dates.
- Must have the ability to work with little supervision and to interact with all levels of operations management.
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
- The Associate Engineer level requires a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and 0-3 years of relevant job-related experience.
- The Engineer level requires a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and 3-6 years of relevant job-related experience.
- The Senior Engineer level requires a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and 6-8 years of relevant job-related experience.
- The Senior Engineer II level requires a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and 8+ years of relevant job-related experience.
- Experience with large industrial data sets and associated applications such as data
PARC and SCADA. - Oil and Gas Midstream Operations engineering experience.
- The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- Normal office working conditions and field work.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment will occur.
