Job Description:
Under the direction of the Director of the Cleanroom Research Laboratory, the Engineering Technician will perform equipment preventative maintenance & repairs, equipment improvements, equipment upgrades, and equipment installation. The Engineering Technician will work with other Cleanroom staff to support the daily operation and maintenance of the laboratory. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and troubleshooting instrument issues related to metal e-beam evaporators, sputtering systems and other semiconductor equipment as needed.
The candidate will also be assisting in interactions with Students, Faculty and Research Scientists to identify Cleanroom capability requirements to support ongoing and future research projects.
