Lab Engineering support

Akkodis is seeking a Lab Engineering support for a Contract with a client in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate is responsible for installing, commissioning, and integrating 5G lab environments while supporting testing and troubleshooting activities .

Rate Range: $40/hour to $41/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Lab Engineering support Job Responsibilities include:

• Install, commission, and integrate Nokia 5G hardware equipment in lab environments following defined procedures.
• Support configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of 5G radio interfaces and critical 3
  
  GPP network components.
• Perform IP networking setup and validation, including IPv4/IPv6, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and routing protocols.
• Assist in lab readiness, maintenance, and upgrades to support development, validation, and interoperability testing.
• Analyze and resolve lab network and hardware issues, escalating complex problems when required.
• Collaborate with RF, core network, and system engineering teams to ensure stable and efficient lab operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
• 6-8 years of hands-on experience in lab engineering, 5G wireless networks, or telecom system support.
• Strong understanding of 3
  
  GPP architecture, 5G radio interfaces, and related protocols across RAN and core network environments.
• Proven experience installing, commissioning, and integrating Nokia 5G hardware with solid knowledge of IP networking (IPv4/IPv6, TCP/IP, routing protocols).

Pay Details: $40.00 to $41.00 per hour
