As a Patent Attorney at TI, you will immerse yourself in cutting-edge technologies, developing a thorough understanding that will enable you to create inventive patent strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting in-depth analysis of various technologies.
- Drafting and prosecuting patent applications in alignment with strategic goals.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to identify patentable inventions.
- Developing and maintaining a portfolio of patents in the designated area of expertise.
- Providing legal counsel on patent-related matters, including infringement and licensing.
- Technology immersion: cultivate a profound understanding of cutting-edge technology, fostering expertise in your chosen domain.
- Leadership of patent strategy: drive the development and execution of patent strategies, leveraging your expertise to develop comprehensive and interrelated approaches.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree with an active license to practice law
- 4+ years of patent application drafting and prosecution experience
- Registration as a patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
- Admission in good standing with a state legal bar
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience as an engineer or scientist in a technical role
- Experience and familiarity with digital signal processors, microcontrollers, processor architecture, wireless communication circuitry, analog circuit design, and/or semiconductor device manufacturing
