Your work environment at EXP

EXP an award-winning international engineering firm, is currently searching for an experienced Mechanical Designer/Engineer. This is an opportunity to get great exposure from our talented and experienced engineering staff in our Dallas, TX office.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

* Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit

* Prepare calculations for loads.

* Thorough knowledge of codes.

* Select and schedule equipment.

* Coordinates with other disciplines (MEP/FP, Arch, Struct, etc.).

* Understand proper scope of SD, DD, CD level documents - and deliver appropriate documentation.

* Work with PC, PM, to meet scheduled project milestones of multiple projects.

* Perform at a 'responsible charge' level of meeting exp's design and quality levels.

* Manage work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours.

* Write studies and reports for systems on projects.

* Understands and apply concepts of CHW, HW, WSHP, variable & constant flow systems.

* Air side systems - CV, VAV, coil selection, fan selection.

* Hydronic Systems - hot, chilled water systems and condenser water systems

* Thorough understanding psychometrics and being able to apply to every project.

What your experience looks like

* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering

* EIT preferred working towards PE

* 1+ years of experience

* Must have strong leadership skills and good communication capabilities.

* Preferred experience includes: data center, mission critical and/or telecom industry.

* Building design experience is a must
