Network Engineer – CCIE PreferredLocation:
Palo Alto, CA and Kansas City
The Successful candidate will be a self-starter that can independently design complex internetworking solutions, perform triage and implement networking solutions under pressure. The Engineer will support design, implementation and troubleshooting of Core Network to support Mobile 4G services.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience working as a Tier III engineer/support
- A CCIE in Routing and Switching or the Service Provider is preferred by not required
- Networking solutions under pressure
- Ability to design and implement Multicasting over both ipv4 and ipv6
- The candidate should be able to demonstrate extensive experience working with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP and RIP)
- Ability to implement Layer 2 and Layer 3 provider edge-Customer edge VPN solutions
- The candidate must demonstrate ability to design and configure VRRP, GLBP, HSRP & QOS
- The candidate must be able to document design traffic flow utilizing tools like MS Visio
