Civil Engineering Intern

Job Description

AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineering Intern for our Dallas, TX office. The internship will begin in Summer 2026.

• Build essential, hands‑on engineering skills beyond academic experience.
• Perform duties that provide a broad, well‑rounded learning experience within civil engineering.
• Complete tasks appropriate for a first‑year intern in a qualified study program.

• Currently pursuing or have completed at least one year of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Eligible if recently graduated and planning to pursue a Master’s degree.
• Must have been enrolled in the most recent school term and express interest in continuing with an advanced degree after the internship.

• Experience with Micro Station, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Interest in transportation engineering and highway design.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills.

USD 17.53 to USD 24.09 per hour, based on education, qualifications, and experience.
