Senior Mechanical Engineer | MEP Building Systems | Dallas, TX

I’m working with a well-established MEP engineering group in the Dallas-Fort Worth area that is looking to add a Senior Mechanical Engineer to its team.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants more than a production-heavy design role. The team supports a wide variety of building systems projects across commercial, aviation, education, healthcare, industrial, government, mission‑critical, and complex facility work.

This role offers the chance to stay close to technical design while also taking ownership across project delivery, coordination, client communication, and mentoring.

• Broad project exposure across multiple building types
• Technical work involving HVAC, plumbing, central plants, renovations, assessments, and new construction
• Complex facility work where reliability, phasing, and coordination matter
• Opportunity to mentor junior staff and help guide design quality

• Mechanical PE preferred
• 6+ years of MEP consulting or building systems design experience
• Experience with load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork, piping, and construction documents
• Revit and AutoCAD experience
• Ability to coordinate with architects, owners, contractors, and internal engineering teams
• Construction administration experience, including RFIs, submittals, and field coordination
• Experience with plumbing, central plants, healthcare, aviation, mission‑critical, commercial, or large facility work is a plus
