  • Identify and mitigate constructability and interface risks related to complex infrastructure projects including AIS and GIS substations
  • Maintain and manage CSA-related risks and opportunities within the project risk register
  • Monitor design schedules and coordinate with planning and engineering teams to mitigate delays
Interface Management
  • Maintain CSA interface registers for substations, BESS projects, utilities, and below-ground infrastructure
  • Coordinate interfaces related to transformer foundations, cable trenches, crane hardstands, fire walls, and building integration
  • Work closely with electrical, mechanical, fire protection, utilities, and commissioning teams
  • Track CSA deliverables against project schedules and milestones
  • Ensure timely delivery of drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical reports
  • Support planning submissions, procurement milestones, construction readiness, and energization schedules
Regulatory & Technical Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with local and national codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Support permitting, planning applications, environmental coordination, and enabling works packages
  • Participate in constructability reviews, risk assessments, and quality reviews
Stakeholder & Consultant Coordination
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, procurement, and construction personnel
  • Coordinate with architects, civil/structural consultants, geotechnical engineers, and local authorities
  • Support technical evaluations, tender reviews, and vendor documentation processes
  • Maintain CSA trackers, interface logs, design schedules, and decision registers
  • Provide project progress reporting for internal and client stakeholders
  • Mentor and support multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Promote collaborative project execution and disciplined design management practices
Requirements

  • PE license preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience within infrastructure, industrial, utility, or mission-critical projects
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary design coordination activities
  • Background in substations, data centers, renewable energy, or industrial projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of CSA coordination and design management principles
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to manage complex design packages and multiple project interfaces
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities
  • Experience working within fast-paced, technically complex project environments
