Job Description

At GE Aerospace, we shape the future of flight, lift people up, and ensure they return home safely. Our Field Service Engineers embody this mission every day by being embedded within the customers site, delivering exceptional service and support. As an Airline Senior Field Service Engineer, you will serve as the trusted on‑site technical representative for our customers, with our customers.

Operating independently and remotely from GE Aerospace hubs to resolve technical challenges and drive success directly in support of our customers fleets.

As part of GE Aerospace's remote Commercial Field Service organization, you will have the opportunity to travel both to support customer needs and to participate in internal conferences, fostering collaboration and continuous growth within our globally dispersed team.

More specifically, you will:

Provide Leadership and Technical Support:
Lead programs and offer technical direction and assistance to the customers and other FSEs, in the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of assigned jet engine product lines.

Cross Functional Leadership:
Our Senior Field Service Engineers are responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring Field Service Engineers and collaborating effectively with other departments to drive operational excellence.

Strategic Leadership:
Guide commercial field service policy, process and strategy to drive continuous improvements across the organization. Influencing business leadership in recognizing customer needs when decision making.

Customer Advocacy:
Deliver prompt, effective solutions that address customer issues and exceed their expectations, driving loyalty and long‑term partnerships.

Monitor and Improve Reliability:
Track reliability and on‑wing performance, including significant events, engine removals, delays, and cancellations. Influence airline stakeholders to implement critical reliability improvements.
