The mechanical engineer is responsible for leading building mechanical and plumbing systems designs to fulfill our clients' mission in our key global market sectors. The mechanical engineer must have knowledge of system selection, application of the Federal Requirements and be ready to lead a team to complete construction documents.  Other related design services include coordination with the designs of other trades (architectural and engineering / internal and external).

The mechanical Engineer will take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the assigned projects working in conjunction with a technical team leader. The mechanical engineer will be responsible for signing work done under their supervision.

-    Lead Federal projects design and production efforts

-    Be responsible for managing mechanical project budgets, schedules, and project specific manpower requirements.

-    Attend client review conferences

-    Perform construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects including conducting field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection reports

-    Lead work with engineers of other disciplines and architects

-    Understand and apply applicable code requirements and industry standards  for mechanical, plumbing systems.

-    Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Bachelor Degree in Architectural Engineering (BSAE) required

-    Required 5 years HVAC and Plumbing experience working in a consulting engineering environment required

-    Professional Engineer License

-   Revit experience

-   US Citizenship is required
