Job Description

Position Title:

Process Quality Supervisor

Department:
Quality

Reports To:

Quality Manager

Description:

The Process Quality Supervisor is responsible for ensuring manufacturing process quality, driving continuous improvement, and managing in-line quality control activities within the module production line. The role ensures product reliability, defect reduction, and compliance with internal and external standards.

Responsibilities:

* Monitor and control critical process parameters (lamination, stringing, EL, flash, etc.)

* Establish and maintain in-line inspection plans and SOPs

* Lead process audits and ensure compliance with quality systems

* Analyze yield loss and defect trends, and drive root cause analysis (RCA)

* Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

* Collaborate with Process Engineering, Production, and R&D teams

* Support failure analysis including DH, HF, and mechanical stress issues

* Ensure compliance with IEC 61215, UL 61730, and customer requirements

* Support internal and external audits

* Supervise quality inspectors and technicians

* Provide training and performance management

* Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and EHS policies

* Perform other duties as required

Qualifications and

Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

* 5+ years experience in manufacturing quality (PV preferred)

* 2+ years supervisory experience

* Strong knowledge of PV module manufacturing processes

* Familiar with quality tools (PDCA, SPC, FMEA, 8D, MSA)

* Understanding of IEC/UL standards and ISO systems

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision

* Proficiency in MS Excel and email communication
