Responsibilities
- Support aircraft systems integration activities throughout the product development lifecycle
- Participate in systems engineering, conceptual design, and architecture definition activities
- Develop and manage system requirements and interface documentation
- Support requirements-based verification and validation processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams including avionics, electrical, software, and certification groups
- Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations and development standards
- Support system safety assessments and certification activities
- Utilize requirements management tools and systems engineering methodologies
- Contribute to process improvements and technical problem-solving initiatives
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
Aerospace Engineering, Avionics Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field - Formal Systems Engineering training is considered a strong asset
- 7–10+ years of experience in:
Aircraft development, Complex systems development, Aircraft certification, Systems engineering, Conceptual design, Architecture definition - Strong knowledge of: ARP
4754, ARP
4761 - In-depth understanding of:
Requirements management tools, Systems engineering processes, Verification and validation methodologies - Experience working in regulated aerospace environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Preferred Experience:
Aircraft systems integration experience, Avionics systems development, Safety-critical systems experience, Aerospace certification program support, Experience working within OEM or aerospace manufacturing environments - Please note this position falls under ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance requirements. Eligible applicants typically include U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders), refugees, and individuals granted asylum in the United States. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
