As a Civil Estimator for HV Substation and Grid Connection, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for civil engineering works involved in high-voltage electrical projects. Your role will be crucial in supporting the planning and execution of HV substation construction and grid connection projects.

• Estimate Preparation:
  Develop comprehensive cost estimates for civil works related to HV substations and grid connections, including material, labor, equipment, and services.
• Project Analysis:
  Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the overall scope of work and identify potential challenges.
• Vendor and Contractor Coordination:
  Liaise with vendors, contractors, and engineers to gather detailed pricing information and negotiate costs.
• Risk Assessment:
  Evaluate potential risks and uncertainties in projects and propose mitigation strategies.
• Budget Management:
  Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets and cost forecasts.
• Reporting:
  Prepare and present detailed reports on estimated project costs and timelines.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3-5 years) as a Civil Estimator, preferably in the HV substation and grid connection sector.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction processes.
• Familiarity with HV substation design and grid connection standards.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
