Required Experience

  • 4–6 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for complex assemblies.
  • Proficiency in SMT (Surface Mount Technology)
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience with electronic assembly processes, mechanical fabrication, and sheet metal operations.
  • Strong analytical skills for time and motion studies, capacity planning, and KPI development.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with manufacturing simulation software and statistical analysis tools. Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Background in liquid cooling integration processes for datacenter racks. Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience implementing automation solutions and advanced manufacturing technologies. Ability to interface with customers and suppliers for design optimization and manufacturability.

Job Description

As a Engineer in Manufacturing Process, you will design, develop, and optimize processes for datacenter server and rack production to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals. You’ll collaborate with design engineering teams to conduct DFM/DFA reviews, create manufacturing guidelines, and develop detailed assembly sequences. Your responsibilities include implementing lean manufacturing principles, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time and improve product quality.

You’ll lead efforts to integrate new technologies and automation solutions, develop process documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Additionally, you’ll analyze production data, conduct time and motion studies, and design efficient manufacturing layouts. This role requires strong technical leadership, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to communicate critical issues to executive and operational leadership.
