Senior Mechanical Engineers in our integrated building services design team develop mechanical and plumbing solutions to meet clients’ complex mission objectives worldwide.
Responsibilities- Lead design and engineering teams for large federal facilities.
- Schedule, project manpower requirements, and manage budgets.
- Oversee execution of projects and ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Design mechanical HVAC and plumbing systems, including chillers, boilers, radiant heating, natural gas distribution, and compressed air generation.
- Coordinate designs with architectural and engineering trades, both internal and external.
- Perform construction administration and field investigation tasks, conduct inspections, and produce detailed inspection reports.
- Apply federal delivery requirements such as UFCs and UFGS, and ensure compliance with LEED and USGBC guiding principles.
- Communicate technical advice and engineering reasoning to clients.
- Direct the work of engineers and coordinate with other trades.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Architectural Engineering (BSAE).
- Minimum 10 years of HVAC and plumbing experience in a consulting engineering environment.
- Professional Engineer license.
- Experience with Revit.
- U.S. citizenship.
The base salary range is $ to $, with pay determined by location and additional factors.
