Mechanical Engineer | MEP Building Systems | Dallas, TX About the Company
I’m hiring for a Mid/Senior Mechanical Engineer in Dallas with an established MEP consulting firm that has a strong local presence, long‑standing client relationships, and a steady backlog of building design work across DFW.
About the RoleThis is a hands‑on mechanical design role focused on HVAC and building systems for commercial, K-12, higher education, healthcare, municipal, and large facility projects. It could be a strong fit for someone who has been involved in design and production but is ready for more ownership, better mentorship, and a clearer path toward PE‑level, senior engineer, or project lead responsibilities.
Responsibilities- HVAC design and mechanical building systems
- Load calculations, ventilation calculations, and equipment selection
- Airside and hydronic systems
- Mechanical construction documents in Revit/AutoCAD
- Coordination with architects, owners, contractors, and other disciplines
- RFIs, submittals, site visits, and construction administration
- Continued growth toward PE, senior engineer, or project lead responsibilities
- 3+ years of mechanical MEP/building systems design experience
- EIT preferred, PE or PE‑track is a plus
- HVAC design experience in an MEP consulting or A&E environment
- Revit and AutoCAD experience preferred
- Commercial, education, healthcare, municipal, or large facility project experience

$90K–$125K+ base, depending on experience, EIT/PE status, and project leadership ability.
