Associate Director Scheduler - Data Center Construction

Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Associate Director Scheduler to join our team to support scheduling as a project controls function on large-scale data center projects. The candidate should have a proven track record of delivering construction project control services.

• Develop, monitor and update the owner's Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Establish the schedule management program and deliverables for large-scale capital programs.
• Interface with project stakeholders as a trusted advisor to provide guidance and recommendations.
• Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval by project teams.
• Conduct schedule resource loading and leveling.
• Consolidate contractors' schedules for integration into the IMS.
• Assess impacts to the critical path and near-critical activities and report to the project team.
• Monitor schedule deviations and variances; assist in developing alternative methods for corrective action.
• Apply EVM methodology to measure project progress.
• Review schedules with the project team regularly to ensure accurate and timely data.
• Provide schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis on a periodic basis.
• Maintain records of scope changes, trends and variances that may affect schedule performance.
• Ensure credibility of the information contained in the schedule.
• Maintain liaison with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
• Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or a related construction field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of applicable experience.
• Direct experience working on teams within a complex matrix environment.
• Expertise using Primavera P6.
• Excellent communication skills.
