The Prefabrication Integration Manager is responsible for managing prefabrication execution on projects. This position will create and maintain training/planning materials, coach project teams, and ensure employees apply Prefabrication principles to their projects, supporting JE Dunn’s strategy, vision and values.

- Lead project-level support efforts, including collaboration with project teams during preconstruction and construction phases to establish parameters for project-specific prefabrication strategies and develop execution plans for successful delivery of prefabrication.
- Capture necessary metric tracking for identified prefabrication plans.
- Contribute to project teams as subject matter expert for specific client projects.
- Learn and implement client-specific prefabrication programs on projects, working with JE Dunn prefabrication program lead and other company prefabrication leads.
- Collaborate with field, operations, and support positions at the project level, including Mechanical/Electrical divisions, Virtual Design & construction, scheduling, etc.
- May support multiple projects simultaneously as it relates to prefabrication.
- Assist in development of prefab lessons learned and best practices, refining a comprehensive catalogue of implementation guides.
- Assist in development of processes and resources supporting a comprehensive internal (e.g., differentiation, labor and profitability) and external (e.g., cost, schedule, safety, quality) metric-driven business case for prefabrication advantages over traditional methods.
- Collaborate with prefabrication management and leadership on contributing project-specific prefabrication execution processes that serve as a guide for teams to lead or assist.
- Partner with self-perform prebuild leadership to guide and develop JE Dunn’s Design for Manufacture & Digital Fabrication capabilities.
- Work with prefabrication leadership on contributing to the development of JE Dunn’s prefabrication strategy and tactical implementation.
- Advanced communication skills, verbal and written.
- Advanced presentation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
- Passion for integrating prefabrication and manufacturing processes into commercial construction.
- Ability to apply Lean process and philosophy.
- Knowledge of the means and methods of manufacturing processes.
- Structured thinking, adapting manufacturing processes with construction processes while having creative solutions to anticipate potential challenges.
- Advanced knowledge of BIM quality procedures, overall processes, and application in the AEC industry.
- Ability to manage budgets, maximize profitability and generate future work through building relationships.
- Technical market expert with knowledge of industry trends and innovations.
- Knowledge of project processes and how each supports successful completion.
- Ability to build relationships with team members that transcend a project.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture or related field (Preferred).
- In lieu of the above, equivalent relevant experience considered.
- 8+ years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience (Preferred).
- 0-2 years people management experience (Preferred).
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- May require extensive periods of travel.
- Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.
- May be exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold).
- Assignment location may include project sites and/or office.
- Frequent activity: sitting, viewing computer screen.
- Occasional activity: standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching above shoulder, pushing, pulling.
