We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in Azure and AWS cloud networking, SDWAN engineering, automation, and large‑scale enterprise WAN architectures. This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on designing, optimizing, and securing complex hybrid cloud and on‑prem connectivity. In this role, we'll hope you bring strong technical depth, operational excellence, and the ability to thrive in highly distributed network environments.

What

You’ll Be Doing Cloud Networking (Azure & AWS)
  • Engineer and support core cloud networking capabilities including routing, segmentation, traffic flow design, and secure connectivity.

  • Architect, implement, and maintain hybrid connectivity solutions such as:

    • Azure Virtual WAN (vWAN), Azure Express Route, Azure Global Reach

    • AWS Direct Connect, AWS Site‑to‑Site VPN, AWS Transit Gateway

    • Routing design, route propagation, route table segmentation

  • Implement and troubleshoot cloud peering technologies (Azure Peering, AWS VPC Peering).

  • Engineer resilient multiregion and cross‑cloud architectures with predictable routing and high availability.

  • Configure and optimize cloud traffic distribution services including:

    • Azure Traffic Manager

    • Azure Load Balancer (Standard/Global)

  • Design and enforce cloud‑native traffic and security controls:

    • Azure UDRs, Azure NSGs, AWS Security Groups

  • Apply best practices for segmentation, encrypted transport, private access patterns, and traffic inspection.

SDWAN & Enterprise WAN Engineering
  • Deploy, optimize, and support enterprise SDWAN platforms with a focus on performance, reliability, and dynamic path selection.

  • Tune QoS, traffic shaping, and application‑aware routing across branch sites and cloud edges.

  • Engineer routing across MPLS, DIA, and private circuits using BGP/OSPF.

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and packet‑level analysis across WAN, SDWAN, and cloud environments.

  • Collaborate with telecom carriers/ISPs to manage SLAs and resolve complex network issues.

Automation, Infrastructure as Code & Scripting
  • Integrate network automation into CI/CD pipelines to support standardized deployments, compliance validation, and drift detection.

  • Build and manage network infrastructure using Terraform for cloud and SDWAN platforms.

  • Develop automation tooling and workflows using:

    • Ansible (network automation, configuration management)

    • JSON (Azure resource templates, AWS API/CLI outputs)

  • Support automated operational processes including provisioning, monitoring, testing, and configuration audits.

Cross‑Team Collaboration & Technical Execution
  • Partner closely with cloud engineering, security, architecture, and application teams to deliver secure and scalable network solutions.

  • Provide technical input during architecture planning and modernization initiatives.

  • Produce clear documentation, diagrams, standards, and runbooks.

  • Offer informal mentorship and knowledge‑sharing within the engineering team.

Troubleshooting & Incident Management
  • Serve as a key technical resource for break/fix operations across cloud, WAN, and SDWAN environments.

  • Participate in incident management workflows including triage, root‑cause analysis, impact assessment, and recovery planning.

  • Troubleshoot complex issues involving routing, cloud connectivity, security controls, automation pipelines, and WAN/SDWAN paths.

  • Respond to major outages, providing real‑time troubleshooting and hands‑on remediation.

  • Participate in an on‑call rotation supporting 24/7 critical incidents.

  • Document incident findings and long‑term remediation strategies.

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams during high‑severity events to restore services and ensure stability.
