We’re seeking an experienced Team Lead to drive operations and growth for our Building Sciences Group, with a primary focus on asbestos consulting and Property Condition Assessment (PCAs).
The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with strong client relationship skills, excellent organizational abilities, sharp attention to detail, and a high degree of personal accountability. You will have significant autonomy and the opportunity to shape the future of this growing service line.
Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day operations and strategic growth of the Building Sciences group through client engagement, strategic partnerships, and referrals.
- As the division expands, recruit, hire, and build out a regional team of asbestos survey and PCA professionals who will report to you.
- Scope projects and prepare proposals.
- Coordinate and/or conduct asbestos sampling, abatement consulting, and related services in full compliance with AHERA, TDSHS, OSHA, and other applicable regulations; prepare high‑quality reports of findings.
- Coordinate and/or conduct Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) in accordance with ASTM guidelines and deliver professional reports.
- Oversee and coordinate outside contractors to ensure seamless project integration and successful delivery. Provide project management oversight for asbestos abatement projects.
- 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting, industrial hygiene, or construction (prior asbestos and/or PCA experience strongly preferred).
- Preferred Licenses/Certifications
- Texas DSHS Asbestos Inspector License
- Texas DSHS Asbestos Management Planner or Consultant License
- TDLR Mold Assessment Technician / Consultant License
- Must reside within reasonable daily commuting distance to the Enviro Phase Dallas office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
