Michels Energy Holdings Safety Manager
This is for Michels Energy Holdings (subsidiary of Michels Corporation). This group provides safety oversight/management for the build of substation foundation, inside electrical, substation itself and often times ties ins for BESS, Solar, Wind, Data Centers, etc. Essentially an Owner's rep but they sub out the work to Michels Power who is a subsidiary of Michels that builds the projects. Will be the full time site safety rep overseeing subcontractors (Michels Power) for major EPC projects.
This need is for T-line build projects. There is a major T-Line build project starting this year. Northland Reliability Project, "T-line" refers to a major proposed high-voltage electric transmission line being developed by Minnesota Power and Great River Energy. Specific details of this T-line include:
Scope:
It is an approximately 150-mile, double-circuit 345-kV transmission line. Michels is doing the line, foundations, and matting/ROW work. Small handful of subs for rebar/concrete. Bulk is Transmissions and Foundations work. Route:
The infrastructure stretches from central Minnesota to northwestern Wisconsin. Timeline: 3-4 year project. Role on this site: oversight of 1-25 field personnel.

Qualifications:
Someone with field experience as a full time safety manager on large substation, t-line, utility projects. Experience with incident investigation and building relationships with the crew/subs. Substation safety management/oversight experience for a GC/EPC/Owner ability to travel nationally need sub contractor management experience good with IT - reporting of safety activities, incidents, etc. Good with using tablets/computer for this work.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $75.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
