Our client is looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Pipeline Engineer to join their team, offering a hybrid work environment. The role is based in one of our Texas locations:
Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, or Austin. The successful candidate will have a crucial role in assessing and providing design and construction support for conveyance facilities related to water, wastewater, recycled water, and utility infrastructure projects.
- Conduct hydraulic and structural analysis and calculations for medium to large diameter water and wastewater pipelines.
- Prepare detailed design plans, specifications, and drawings.
- Collaborate with the senior team to perform pipeline design calculations.
- Offer technical support and expertise to multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Author technical reports and ensure the maintenance of accurate project records, reports, and documentation.
- Provide support for projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from conception to construction, while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Educational Background: A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a closely related engineering field.
- Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience, specifically related to pipeline work. - Professional Engineer (PE):
Must hold a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license or have the ability to obtain one. - Software Proficiency:
Familiarity with pipeline design software and hydraulic modeling tools. - Knowledge:
Understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations in the field. - Technical Writing:
Strong technical writing skills, which are essential for the role.
