We are seeking a Mechanical BIM Specialist to join our growing team and help develop the detailed models, layouts, and construction documentation that drive successful project execution.

This is a primarily in-office position based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Limited hybrid flexibility may be available after successful completion of the initial 90-day training and onboarding period and based on project needs and performance.

As a Mechanical BIM Specialist
, you will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Superintendents, and field teams to develop and maintain accurate HVAC and plumbing models for commercial construction projects. You will create and modify construction drawings, coordinate building systems, verify field conditions, participate in BIM coordination meetings, and help ensure projects remain accurate, organized, and on schedule. This role plays a critical part in supporting project planning, fabrication, installation, and successful field execution.

Responsibilities include developing detailed HVAC and plumbing models, generating construction drawings and shop drawings, interpreting plans and specifications, converting sketches and concepts into digital models, performing field verification and site measurements, participating in clash detection and coordination efforts, supporting fabrication workflows, and assisting project teams throughout the construction process.

• 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• 40-hour workweek
• One-hour lunch break
• Overtime opportunities available based on project needs and management approval

We are seeking candidates with at least two years of experience in BIM coordination, Revit modeling, CAD drafting, mechanical design, MEP coordination, or commercial construction documentation. Successful candidates will possess strong technical aptitude, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented construction environment.

• Experience with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
• Experience with Autodesk Fabrication MEP and Autodesk CAD-MEP
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection
• Commercial construction or MEP drafting experience
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with project teams
• Technical degree preferred but not required, with relevant experience
