Wi‑Fi Standards Lead & Visionary Delegate

Responsibilities

• Have a leading role in Nokia's IEEE 802.11 and/or Wi-Fi Alliance delegation.
• Develop novel concepts for Wi‑Fi 9. Evaluate and promote your concepts in IEEE 802.11 and Wi‑Fi Alliance.
• Collaborate with other companies in IEEE 802.11 and Wi‑Fi Alliance to develop the next generation Wi‑Fi standard.

• PhD in EE, CS, Physics, or similar OR MS degree and 10+ years of experience as Wi‑Fi standardization delegate or extensive standardization experience.
• Recognized industry expert with expert knowledge of Wi‑Fi up to 802.11bn.
• Proven track record of innovations and contributions to wireless standards.
• Experience in the use of link and simulation tools.
• Enthusiastic about Wi‑Fi technology and open minded and curious.
• Excellent communication skills and track record of working with product lines.

• Experience in the development of link or system simulators.
• Good understanding of agentic workflows.
