Overview
Our client is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to play a key role in the delivery of large-scale power generation projects across gas-fired, solar, and battery energy storage technologies. This is an opportunity to lead complex engineering and permitting activities, working closely with EPC partners and stakeholders to deliver critical energy infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities- Manage civil engineering, environmental, permitting, hydrology, and drainage activities across the project lifecycle.
- Oversee EPC contractors and engineering/environmental consultants.
- Review site design, grading, drainage, stormwater, and environmental deliverables.
- Coordinate permitting strategies and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitor project risks relating to civil, environmental, and water resources issues.
- Support stakeholder engagement, reporting, and project execution activities.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8–15 years experience within power generation, energy, or large infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing EPC contractors and external consultants.
- Strong understanding of civil site design, environmental permitting, drainage, and hydrology.
- Excellent technical review, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
- Experience with gas turbine or combined-cycle power projects.
- PE or EIT certification.
- Experience reviewing civil and environmental design packages during EPC execution.
