Petco - 4775 Tinsley Road - Responsibilities:
Expert Troubleshooting & System Optimization:
Lead diagnosis of high-complexity mechanical, electrical, and controls issues (PLC logic, I/O, communications, VFD tuning, servo systems).;
Automation Reliability & Continuous Improvement:
Own root-cause analysis for chronic failures; develop long-term corrective solutions; identify component, design, and process improvements to reduce downtime and increase throughput.;
Technical Mentorship & Leadership:
Train Level I and II Technicians; provide ongoing coaching and skill development; lead shift coverage planning for automation support.;
Safety & Compliance Champion:
Drive a safety-first culture; model perfect LOTO and hazard-assessment practices; lead safety improvements, audits, and cross-functional training.;
Documentation &
Collaboration:
Maintain expert-level CMMS documentation and vendor service logs; act as primary liaison with vendors and IT/Engineering partners.
